For the intimately in love, adventurous, & lovers of moody imagery
Combining adventure and play into unique and dramatic images to withstand the test of time
Let’s go on an adventure together!
Welcome to your first step!
Every adventure starts some place and capturing your memories are no exception to the rule. So let’s bring your story to life! Whether that is a chill day at home snuggled up (with or without pants), cooking your favorite dish, on top of a mountain top, paddling a boat, playing in a lake, loving on your animals, or even just a stroll through town; I’ve got your back.
I want to be the fly on the wall to your love so I can capture all of those intimate bits. But that doesn’t mean we won’t get silly and have a pile of laughs along the way. I’ll help to guide you towards the best version of your personal visual story.
So let’s get together and craft some memories. If you hike, let’s go somewhere old or somewhere new. If you are a homebody, I’ll bring my fuzzy socks. Whatever your adventure, big or small, I am down to capture those beautiful real moments so you can treasure them for life.

Maria
I am Adventure Wedding and Elopement Photographer hanging out in the valley of Cumberland, Maryland. I love to run away constantly to Deep Creek, Frederick, MD, DC, Baltimore, MD, Pittsburgh, PA, Davis, WV, the Shenandoah Valley, and more. There isn’t anywhere I wouldn’t travel to to make some magical images and meet some new humans.
I was born in the mountains but was raised in the backseat of a Volkswagen New Beetle traveling all over the U.S. on a weekend basis. I love the journey, people, and their stories. I love the scenery, whether that is small town Americana, historic buildings, sprawling metropolises, curvy backroads, or mountaintop views. I love witnessing love and all its various forms and incorporating art with play.

Started!
Snow, ice, rain, head-colds, mornings, the verge of sensory meltdown…No Problems
Want to have two wedding weekends one for the East Coast, and one for the West Coast since your relationship began long distance? I got you there as well.
Yes, all of some combo were occurring in the below images.
Your love story deserves to still look perfect, even when things aren’t always most ideal.
I carry clear umbrellas and blankets and all the things always. I know all the nearby cozy and calm coffee and snack spots, use AllTrails and pre-scout out all the trails, and don’t get me started on how Red Light Therapy is amazing for your immune system, skin, hair, and overall health. It helped kick down an airplane head cold everyone passed around for my one couple so instead of being miserable all week and weekend they were back to themselves by the weekend. Also if you can guess the bride wearing a wedding dress from my closet stash because she had a last minute meltdown I was able to quell in as long as it took to ship to her house and her realize it fit…you get a cookie ;)
There’s a goofy magic to holding both ADHD and Autism in my brain (beyond random history facts and random tidbits of many hours googling everything)… I’m hyperaware and always prepared for pretty much anything and everything.
So when shit hits the fan… we got it covered and you can just breathe<3
I also worked many a service industry position, so whether it’s having the connect to the only good gluten free baker in the area that only bakes small cakes occasionally, or being able to help in the kitchen, be the last minute bartender to the homemade cocktails in a large batch, quickly cut the rest of a cake, help groomsmen properly trim and light cigars, or whatever…. Once again, you’re covered.
Bless always being curious and wanting to learn everything in life, it has served me well. So then, when you hire me my knowledge bank is also yours if needed.
Being a photographer is this strange balancing act of having many skills and using them all at the same time and being able to still do the main job of capturing and making art at the same time. Some neurodivergence is sort of required I do believe.

SO YOU WANT TO GET
Married!

“Maria did an amazing job and was super flexible and personable. The end products were phenomenal and captured the scenery (and us!) in a way I never could have imagined”
